The origins of the Humber Bay neighbourhood date back to 1888 with the area's first schoolhouse on High Street. As the schoolhouse expanded and evolved into a community centre, the neighbourhood grew up around it, and today Humber Bay is a quaint, middle-income, family-oriented area.
