It will take several months for your mouth to heal and the posts to fuse to the bone.

At the second appointment, we will attach an abutment to the implant to provide a connection between your implants and your replacement teeth. This step can sometimes be performed at the same time as your implants.

Once everything has healed, we can create your replacement teeth. Because your teeth are missing, we might ask for pictures so that we can best match your natural teeth. We create your replacement teeth onsite using Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramic (CEREC) crowns. At your appointment, we will get a 3D impression of your mouth with a small camera. Our system then uses these precise measurements to create your replacement teeth onsite.

We can then customize the colour and glaze to match your natural teeth perfectly. Once finished, we will attach your tooth to the abutment. If you're missing multiple teeth in a row, we will use a bridge to span the entire gap. This way, we can use just two implants on either side of your gap.
